A New Beginning

I have decided to change my blog altogether.  In this new beginning, I have decided to really focus on creating ME!  I want to be the child of God, wife, mother, homemaker, daughter, sister, friend, and everything that God created me to be.  I have a chance to do things right and I'm taking it.  I want to live each and every day for God.  I want to be the person that HE created me to be.  I want to follow HIS plan.  He has saved me with HIS grace and mercy.  How can I give HIM any less than my best?

This year I will make changes that will change my life.  Little changes that will make BIG differences.  I will strive to:

• Have a sincere heart and stay away from gossip
• Spend time with my Heavenly Father in prayer and Bible study each day
• Trust the Lord - believe
• Have my heart filled with Jesus Christ each and every day
• Hold on to HOPE!
• Attend church and Sunday school with other believers
• Encourage my family and friends in our walk with God
• Be prepared for each day and be THANKFUL for it!
• Ask for forgiveness
• Draw my family closer to God
• Read through the Bible

I am not making New Year Resolutions.  I am  going to strengthen my relationship with God and my family.  Everything else will fall into place if I have a sincere heart for God.  That is my plan for 2010 and beyond.  I think it sounds pretty good. 

In case you were wondering, my old blog was Sweet Tea and Spray Paint.  I wasn't happy with WordPress and I wanted a fresh start so here I am!
